Flourish

Poverty - material, relational, spiritual, physical and emotional - can lead to isolation, fear, despair and a lack of hope. It takes away agency and choice, and can leave people doubting their self-worth.

God’s church is called to bring hope and light to the most difficult of situations, living out our faith with our whole lives – words, actions and character. 

Flourish is a community-focused biblically structured journey, led by the church.

• As we listen to God, each other and our local community, the process will help us to discover all that God is calling us to be and do to enable our church and community to flourish. 

• As we work with our local community to bring positive change, we will gain new skills and confidence, and grow in our understanding of God’s heart for the world.

Stop

Discuss and celebrate who we are and what we are doing. Explore God’s heart for our church and wider community.

Look

Understand the gifts, skills and resources we already have. Discover what we know about Farnham and the surrounding area.

Listen

Listen to community members to gain a better understanding of local concerns. Discern what God is saying and how he is guiding us.

Walk

Dream dreams with our community about the difference we can make together. Develop joint plans, and put these plans into action.
