What to expect
-
We start each service with about 25 minutes of contemporary, band-led sung worship and prayer. During this time, bags for giving are passed around - please do not feel obliged to give.
After singing together we usually share a few short notices about upcoming events. This is followed by a talk based on the Bible that lasts about 25 minutes.
After the talk we like to create space for people to respond. Sometimes we will sing another song. There is always a chance to receive prayer if you would like it, but it will never be forced on you.
At the end of the service, free coffee and snacks are served at the back of the church and everyone is warmly invited to stay and chat.

During the service we run Epic Kids for children in school years R to 6, and Epic Tots for pre-school children. Sign-in is open from 10:20am.
Embassy is for school years 7 to 13. The youth start in the main service and then leave with the leaders after worship.

On the first Sunday of each month we all gather together - children, youth and adults - to praise and worship God.
The singing is led by our youth band and there are often actions for children to join in with. Sometimes we gather around tables, and there is a short, interactive talk. Colouring activities are provided for smaller children.

The local carparks are currently free of charge on Sundays. The closest three are Central, Sainsbury’s (South Street) and Waggon Yard. They are all within easy walking distance of the church.
For the cyclists, there are bike racks at the front of the building.

Come as you are! Seriously, wear whatever you are comfortable in.

The evening services follow a similar pattern to the morning ones, with the same worship and talk. There are no children’s groups on offer in the evenings.
Tea and coffee is available before the service from 6:45pm, so come early and join us for a cuppa!
